COVID-19... one year on
It's been a year since the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and the world grappled with change. COVID-19 significantly impacted and changed everyone's lifestyle which in turn changed their consumption habits.
This pandemic has shown the fragility of small businesses like ours, and how easily we were disrupted. Like all other businesses regardless of scale, we have had to adapt and change.
Here's a little memoir of our journey, one year on...
New Home
Owing to COVID complications, we moved out from OUE Downtown Gallery to our new home and cosy studio at 16 Shaw Road. Even though we were only at OUE for 3 months, it was a place where we were able to meet many of you for the first time, and understanding more about the CBD crowd.
An Intimate Experience
At our new home, we have been able to host more intimate experiences, as we are only accepting appointments now. Many customers appreciate the one-to-one service, and being able to shop in a quiet, enclosed space (vs. being in a shopping mall).

Product expansion
As more people started working from home last year, we expanded our collections to cater to the new demand of loungewear such as pyjamas sets, and more mulberry silk items that boost comfort.
Why we choose silk, and why you should too
As many people suffered from surgical mask breakouts since masks were made mandatory, we embarked on making silk masks ourselves (the first in Singapore). To date, our silk masks have helped many people reduce skin issues, and our wide range of colours are great for everyday wear.

We understand that our studio in Tai Seng might not be accessible to some, so we have expanded our reach by having our products available at more stockists. Of course, the full collection (including silk masks) are still exclusively available at our studio. We are open 5 days a week, so if you would like to shop our full range, we highly encourage making an appointment to come by for your exclusive shopping experience :)
