What an exciting time for us - launching our One-of-a-Kind collection.
These six divine pieces have been handcrafted both in Latvia, and in our home studio by my mother-in-law and yours truly.
Honestly, I've never properly sewn in my life.
I can't even fix a button or hem.
But my mother-in-law is a wonderful, multi-talented woman with patience that knows no boundaries.
Over the past two months, she has painstakingly taken me through every step of drafting paper patterns, measuring and cutting fabrics, sewing and troubleshooting.
I'm incredibly thankful that BELLS & BIRDS has taken the next step towards developing our own designs.

I adorned the sleeves with delicate, lace trims.
I remember drafting this botanicals-inspired piece in my journal over lunch. I wanted to create something simple with greenery elements. Weeks were spent sourcing the leaf lace for sleeves and a dark green lace for the belt.
Seeing it come to live makes me so happy, I hope this piece goes to a lady who loves nature and traveling, just like me.
I haven't seen a prettier cotton lace than this. Structured and heavyweight, we constructed a train to complement the silhouette, making it into a casual gown.
No need for sparkly sequins and pearls, let the lace and beautiful train speak for itself.
